Chris Klenklen
Deputy Director, Missouri Department of Agriculture

Since 2019, Chris Klenklen has served as the Deputy Director of the Missouri Department of Agriculture, where is the Department’s primary contact on river, water, and infrastructure issues impacting agriculture.  Prior to his role, he was Missouri’s director of the Department’s Grain Inspection & Warehousing Division, with responsibility for protecting Missouri agriculture by supervising regulations of grain businesses and providing grain quality analysis at labs across the state. He began his career at the Department in 1987 as a regulatory field auditor and has served in various administrative and policy positions.
