June 11, 2026 – 9 a.m. Connecting Classrooms to Careers in Aerospace and Aviation

Educators will tour St. Louis Downtown Airport and gain a firsthand look at the region’s aerospace and aviation ecosystem. The session will provide practical insights into aerospace, aviation and avionics careers—including job roles, salary outlooks, and training requirements—and showcase proven pathways from high school to high pay through apprenticeships, community college and four year programs.

Participants will learn about specific career opportunities at Gulfstream Aerospace Corp., located at the airport. They will also be introduced to classroom-ready resources like AeroSTL.org to help connect students to real-world career opportunities in this high-growth sector. (Closed Event)
