Bradley Krischel

Bradley Krischel graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Missouri. Krischel is an engineer in the Hydrologic and Hydraulics branch, Engineering and Construction Division for the St. Louis District. He has 17 years of experience specializing in civil works projects that include river engineering, inland navigation, and ecosystem restoration. He currently serves as the technical lead for the Regulating Works Project, which consists of bank stabilization and sediment management to ensure adequate navigation depth and width on the Middle Mississippi River. Krischel’s duties also include numerical modeling to study the design of river training structures, lock and dam approach velocities, solutions to reduce dredging, and methods to increase ecosystem restoration.
