Panos Kouvelis is the Emerson Distinguished Professor of Supply Chain, Operations and Technology in the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis and serves as the Director of The Boeing Center for Supply Chain Innovation – the university’s supply chain, process excellence, business model innovation, and technology management research center. A widely cited and top-ranked researcher, Kouvelis is known for his work on global supply chain management, risk management, supply chain finance, inventory management and operations strategy. He has consulted on multiple topics related to supply chain and operations for several prominent companies, has more than 30 years of teaching experience, and previously served as the senior associate dean and director of executive programs at the Olin Business School.
