Tom McGovern

Dean of STEM, St. Louis Community College – Florissant Valley Campus

Tom McGovern has been an Academic Dean at St. Louis Community College since 2023. McGovern was previously a full professor for engineering and technology and has been at the college for 17 years.  He worked in industry for eight years prior to going into a faculty position. McGovern oversees Associate Degrees in Computer Integrated Manufacturing, Electrical/electronic Engineering Tech, Engineering Tech, and Engineering Science as well as certificates in CAD, Precision Machining Technology and Biomedical Electronics Tech.  He has a Master of Science in Engineering from Tulane University.
